I saw this movie. It was great. I loved it. It shows a lot of history from the south. Walter McMillan was innocent. The south was very cruel with blacks in history. There never was any physical evidence that Walter killed that girl. The only evidence against him was that he was last person to have talked with the 18-year-old girl who was killed. But there never was any physical evidence that he did it. The girl's body was bloody all over and her body was dragged around. If Walter would've been the one to do that, there would've been blood on his clothes and on his hands. He was wearing the same clothes all day the day he got arrested. There was no blood on his shirt, his overalls, and his boots, or even his hands. If he had blood in any of his clothes or on his hands, someone would've noticed it. But his kids and some of his neighbors were with him the whole time he spoke with that girl. He wasn't alone with her.

It's steady and clear-headed, safe in the knowledge that truth is the ultimate humaniser.
It's good acting at its finest in the end.
Jordan. has steel and energy in his part, and. Foxx. gives a beautifully modulated, unflashy and quietly moving performance, easily his best in at least a decade.
It was just a great ensemble cast.

That gave me chills and makes Me want to cry for some reason. Very brilliant 🎥. Unfortunately these types of unlawful imprisonment has been placed on black people. For the duration of time spent in this 🌎. I remember when I saw Rihanna in London when she was 17 years old, on her own. She stood next to me, a normal girl about to perform in a small gathering. I wish I spoke to her, and somehow had a chance to stay in touch with her, not because shes gone on to become a global star) but because she blossomed into one the most admirable, beautiful women and soul. Her heart is the purest and most loving to humanity. She feels the pain of normal people. Shes kind and always uses her voice unlike many other celebrities.

Its nice seeing her. Still waiting for a new album though. Bryan Stevenson is my second cousin. So proud of all of his accomplishments. He had a movie premiere last night in Delaware and it was a great event. Glad I got to go. I went into this film with no expectations at all, didn't even really know what the film was about, just saw the really exciting cast and I was in. Nothing would have prepared me for the totally shocking. True Story. that was told in this film, it has stayed with me ever since I watched it.
I'm not sure I know enough words in the English dictionary to describe the total disbelief in the whole story and journey of Walter McMillian and Bryan Stevenson played by Jamie Foxx and Michael B Jordan respectively. Needless to say that I had never heard of the central case of this film involving Mr McMillian nor the incredible work of Mr Stevenson and his organisation. I think it definitely benefited my viewing experience because I really had no idea what was going to happen.
Wow what an emotional roller coaster in many respects. I have complete and utter disgust with the pathetic case that was brought against Walter McMillian in the first place. basically the police needed to desperately catch someone so they intimidated another death row inmate to testify against an innocent man, so he could get a reduced sentence. Then there is the small fact of not using the witness accounts of black people who would prove Mr McMillian's innocence. nor have any black people on the jury. br> Then there is the other side of the emotion. from disgust and almost anger, to just outright sadness. this film is deeply horrifying and sad due to the nature of the subject matter. the scene when Herbert Richardson gets executed, is a huge emotional punch to the gut. it must also be said that the end credits are also just as educationally horrifying. thankfully there are some silver linings!
All of this going through my head is obviously due to the film being good. oh yeah did I not mention that. why is the Imdb score so low. The directing is solid but nothing mind blowing. it didn't need to be. The acting in this film is what just adds that extra special touch to elevate the film from good to great, for me! Michael B Jordan, Jamie Foxx, Brie Larson all of whom are just great in the film. no more to say. br> Overall I am just shocked by the story, it took my breath away! Being from the UK where the death penalty has not been accepted for quite some time. it is completely dumfounding why its still used and accepted in the US. Yeah those statistics at the end is almost vomit inducing. 80% out of 100 its a very good film highly recommend. people need to hear this story, peoples eyes need to be opened.

That trailer was beautiful. What a movie! I could not move an inch since 15 mins into it. Based on a true story. Brilliant direction, script and performances by all. It is shocking to know what has been happening to Black folks al these years in US. Actually I just got to discover that Black people were not allowed to vote until 1980s, that's like recently, right? in the democratic USA. It is sad they still have to fight for their rights. The movie shook me up from the inside. If anyone says or feels privileged because they are a given colour of skin and think they are superior in whatever way(again because of color of skin that runs like a few nano mms. watch this movie. It is shameful what the protagonist and the sufferer has to go through in a "democracy. Sad indeed.

This movie looks great. Very inspiring. Just wait the Brie Larson haters on YouTube get on her case on her amazing performance in this film. This will show the haters their true colors. I didnt go to cinema after ‘Joker ( 😘 ) Now gonna go for this for sure.
